If you’ve ever wondered how we make our food boxes…here’s the list we go by!

Cereal or Oats (or other things like poptarts/granola bars)
Canned meats (chicken, tuna, spam, Vienna sausages…etc.)
Hamburger/tuna helpers
Canned fruit
Pasta sauce and diced or crushed tomatoes
Ramen Noodles (any flavor but beef or chicken are popular)
Pasta (spaghetti, etc)
Rice (flavored rice packs are good too!)
Soups (chicken noodle, tomato, cream of chicken, cream of mushroom, etc. so many options!)
Saltine crackers
Peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
Jelly (any flavor, variety is always helpful!)
Ravioli, Spaghetti O’s, etc.
Canned vegetables (any kind, corn and green beans are most popular but variety is great)
Canned or dried beans (pork and beans, chili beans, are popular)

Optional: frozen meats like chicken or beef, we do have some freezer space, we usually have farm fresh eggs when the local chickens are laying. We can take some produce the day of pantry, but don’t want to take a lot if we can’t get rid of it. 🙂

A friendly reminder: Day Camp will be happening this week at Sherwood Community Center and the City Park in Creighton!

There is equipment set up at The Park and The Center for registered campers. If there are people attempting to use the equipment outside of camp activities, we are NOT liable for accidents.

We would LOVE for you to come, register, and enjoy camp with us. It will be a really fun week!!

If you are not registered, this equipment is not for you. Parents, please keep kids away from the additional equipment at the park. We say this for their safety. We would be so sad to see anyone get hurt by using these things.

A few reminders:
Day Camp is July 20-24 8:30-4:30 (lunch and snack provided)

Our next work day is July 14 from 6-8 pm to finish getting the building ready for camp.

The next food pantry and clothes closet is July 18, 9-11 am.

Hey friends! We are still filling up registration slots for Day Camp!
If you have a child (completed K-6th grade) who wants to have an amazing week PACKED with fun...sign them up! (Lunch and snack provided)
We're also looking for a couple more counselor assistants. The only requirement is they be 16 years or older. They won't be in charge...just helping out the head counselor.
This counts for volunteer hours at school if you want to get a head start on those!
Camp is July 20-24, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
