Desmond Doss is one of Auroras idols this started in 2nd grade. She was partial to his belief that God would carry him thru and that everyone deserves to be saved.
His message has made her a stronger wiser person, and has kept her dream alive. She has long said that if God wants her to continue doing this work that he will provide for her to do so. Thru the Coins for Veterans platform she has been given the amazing opportunity to speak to Desmond Jr and several other people connected to Desmond Sr.

If you don't know his story please look into it or ask Aurora it's one of her favorite subjects.

Aurora had an amazing night last night at Walleyes For the Wounded. She gave a speech and gave out Coins. It was a wonderful time and a lot of Veterans were very appreciative to get their coins.

This was one of the highlights of Aurora's day. Unfortunately she stopped recording too early, the door was open as they took off and they were waving.

Today was Boalsburgs annual Memorial day event. Aurora gave out a couple hundred coins to deserving military members and we helped Walmart serve lunch to the military, gold star families and the public. Boalsburg was where Memorial day started. If you are looking for a good event to go to this is definitely one of them.

Aurora helped a local VFW place flags on 5 cemeteries on Saturday. We will be back at it again on Monday taking care of 5 more local cemeteries.

Aurora spends time at each tombstone and makes sure to say their names. She lives by the saying that you die twice, once when you die and once when your name is no longer spoken. Aurora makes sure these veterans are still honored.
