What an incredible day at tryouts yesterday! 🤠🐎 The energy, talent, and enthusiasm everyone brought out made it such a fun and successful experience. We are beyond excited about the amazing group coming together for this season!
The Rowdy Riders Drill Team can’t wait to get started and make this summer one to remember. Be sure to keep an eye out for us at local events—we’re ready to ride, perform, and bring the excitement wherever we go!

Here are the 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬 for our try outs.

‼️ALL RIDERS ARE REQUIRED TO CARRY A FLAG FOR THE 2026 SEASON ‼️

Never carried a flag with your horse? Stay tuned on information for training opportunities!

𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝟏

This test is designed by our board members for us the assess the riders and horses ability to work as a team, and to assess their skill level.

If you get stuck on a part of the pattern, it’s ok to skip it! We just want to see a good attempt before moving to the next maneuver.

𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝟐 Part 2

This test is designed to see how well the rider can communicate to their team. It’s essential to be able to communicate all the way down the line to your furthest rider so that the team can move in sync.

This pattern includes 2 seasoned drill team riders, and they will talk you through every step.

As we gather with family and friends this week, we’re especially grateful for this incredible community that lifts us up, cheers us on, and supports our riders all year long.

Seeing three of our riders on horseback reminds us what makes Craig so special — hard-working team members, dedicated families, and a community that believes in them.

We are so excited to be a part of one of Craig’s most magical community traditions — the Parade of Lights!
This event is packed with incredible floats, festive lights, holiday spirit, and of course… your very own Rowdy Riders Drill Team!

Come bundle up, bring your family, and enjoy an evening full of sparkle and hometown pride. We can’t wait to ride down the parade route and share the Christmas cheer with all of you. 🎄✨
