The Christmas Mother program is such a unique non-profit organization! No one receives a salary. It is an all-volunteer organization with volunteers of all ages changing annually. It is not associated directly with any government, agency, or specific church. It has been serving the community since 1948. Highlands Christmas Mother, Inc. is definitely worthy of your donations during the Give Local Alleghany Highlands campaign - especially on Giving Day, May 19th.
