Safety starts with knowledge, and our youth are helping share it.

Throughout the year, AHI’s Youth Program participants work on projects that reflect the issues they care about and the communities they call home. This traffic safety video is one of those projects, created to encourage safer habits and help keep everyone looking out for one another.

When young people have the opportunity to learn, create, and share what they’ve learned, they’re not just building new skills. They’re becoming leaders who contribute to stronger, safer communities.

We’re proud of AHI’s Youth Leaders for launching a peer-led No Va**ng Campaign designed to encourage healthy choices and spark meaningful conversations among their classmates and friends.

Young people face pressure every day, but when they hear from peers who understand their experiences, the message hits differently.

This is what youth leadership looks like: using your voice, sharing your story, and creating positive change in your community.

Eid al-Adha Mubarak!

Eid al-Adha is one of the most significant holidays observed by Muslims around the world. It is a time for reflection, generosity, community, and gathering with family and loved ones.

In observance of Eid al-Adha, the AHI office will be closed on Wednesday, May 27, and Thursday, May 28. Most staff will also be taking Friday off, and services will be available by appointment only.
