The African University in Cameroon is one of the oldest universities that was established in Cameroon after independence from the French occupation.
Cameroon, or the Republic of Cameroon, is a federal state in Central Africa, considered a transitional region separating Central and West Africa. It gained independence from France on January 1, 1960.

The African University in Cameroon aims to spread knowledge and humanities to all countries of the world.
The university is an important destination for all nationalities, as the scientific subjects of its various faculties are taught in French and Arabic, and its certificates are accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education in Cameroon.
It also offers an advanced scientific aspect, a virtual education platform that broadcasts science around the world in English, French and Arabic.
Egypt, on the other hand, is considered one of the greatest and most important African countries throughout history, if it is not at the top of the list of African countries as the second oldest civilization on Earth after Iraq.
Therefore, the African University established a branch in the Arab Republic of Egypt to provide university programs at the post-secondary and postgraduate levels of study.
As for the university colleges:
It has colleges of medicine, pharmacy, law, engineering, education, agriculture, nursing, political science, dentistry, arts, the Institute of Cosmetic and Laser Sciences, the Institute of Medical Services, and the Institute of Therapeutic Nutrition.
Egypt embraced the university in all its specializations, with the study being in practical colleges in cooperation with a number of Egyptian government universities.
Study in theoretical colleges inside Egypt will be via the university’s platform.
The role of the branch is limited to organizing the educational process and providing certification services to students.

تعد الجامعة الإفريقية بالكاميرون من الجامعات العريقة والتي أنشئت بدولة الكاميرون بعد الاستقلال من الاحتلال الفرنسي .
الكاميرون او جمهورية الكاميرون, هى دولة اتحادية فى وسط افريقيا, بعتبر منطقة انتقالية تفصل بين وسط افريقيا وغربها.استقلت من فرنسا فى 1 يناير 1960.

وتهدف الجامعة الإفريقية بالكاميرون الى نشر المعرفة والعلوم الإنسانية في كافة دول العالم.
وتعد الجامعة قبلة هامة لكافة الجنسيات حيث تدرس المواد العلمية لكلياتها المتعددة باللغة الفرنسية و العربية وحيث تعتمد شهاداتها من وزارة التعليم العالي بالكاميرون .
كما وتقدم من جانب علمى متطور، منصة للتعليم الافتراضي تبث العلوم حول العالم باللغة الإنجليزية والفرنسية والعربية .
وتعد مصر من الجانب الأخر من أعظم وأهم الدول الإفريقية عبر التاريخ إن لم تكن هي المتربعة على صدر قائمة الدول الإفريقية كثاني أقدم حضارة على ظهر الأرض بعد العراق .
لذا أقامت الجامعة الإفريقية فرعا لها بجمهورية مصر العربية لتقديم برامج الجامعة فى مرحلتي الدراسة بعد الثانوية والدراسات العليا .
اما عن كليات الجامعة:-
فيوجد بها كليات الطب والصيدلة والحقوق والهندسة والتربية والزراعة والتمريض والعلوم السياسية وطب الأسنان والآداب ومعهد علوم التجميل والليزر ومعهد الخدمات الطبية ومعهد التغذية العلاجية
واحتضنت مصرُ الجامعة بكافة تخصصاتها على أن تكون الدراسة بالكليات العملية بالتعاون مع عدد من الجامعات الحكومية المصرية .
وتكون الدراسة بالكليات النظرية داخل مصر عبر منصة الجامعة.
ويقتصر دور الفرع على تنظيم العملية التعليمية وتقديم خدمات الشهادات للطلاب.

discussion about the role of universities in our global development community as well as the imperative to foster innovation in all of our global institutions:

1. Universities are unique kinds of global institutions. Universities are institutions intended to be durable and enduring. When wisely designed, governed and financed, they are unique entities in our American democracy and in our global society. Universities are neutral conveners, assemblers of talent, and unmatched idea factories where the passion, creativity, and idealism of great minds, young and old alike, can be applied to problem-solving and advancing our societal and economic well-being.

2. Universities must adapt and innovate. Contemporary universities have a responsibility to transcend traditional disciplinary limitations in pursuit of intellectual fusion, and develop a culture of academic enterprise and knowledge entrepreneurship. They must also be prepared to begin delivering higher education at scale – in a manner that bestows status upon universities based upon the outcomes they achieve and their breadth of impact rather than the exclusivity and quality of their incoming freshman class.

3. Universities must embrace their cultural, socioeconomic and physical setting. It is imperative that universities be socially embedded, thereby fostering development through direct engagement. Universities must work creatively and be willing to take risks to become even greater forces of societal transformation.

4. Universities must focus on the individual. Universities need to foster student success by becoming student-centric – rather than faculty-centric. Successful universities will be those capable of being nimble, anticipatory, imaginative and reactive. They must provide unique environments that prepare students to be “master thinkers” able to grasp a wide array of skills and comprise the most adaptable workforce the world has ever known.

5. Universities must become effective partners for global development. Only through the proliferation of networks between like-minded alliances can transformation occur at the scale that is immediately needed in order to advance our present global knowledge economy. Our communities must open their eyes to this imminent future and transform their thinking to see universities, not as self-indulgent “people factories,” but as valuable idea generators with vast influence and the potential to manifest technologies and concepts that can change lives the world over.

Change is not easy. Modification and growth in large, complex institutions that are part of an increasingly global system of commerce, trade and interchange can be particularly challenging. But innovation and adaptation are needed now more than ever before in our international higher education infrastructure and in our global development institutions. We must work together to build what we need, not simply replicate what has existed before,

Located in Sasebo City Nagasaki Prefecture and established in 1950.
The embroidered ceremonial flag has dark red background with a gold logo mark and gold kanji university name written vertically with gold fringe.
The university flag has white background with a blue, orange and black emblem
in the center with blue and orange horizontal stripes.
The university aims to be a university like the sea, sending out diverse human resources to the world from a campus with unlimited possibilities, and a university like the sun , creating a bright future and allowing possibilities to blossom with brilliant light. The school emblem is this "S" for SEA and SUN. S" of the SASEBO CAMPUS and the SIEBOLD CAMPUS. The emblem is decorated with the English name "University of Nagasaki" around it to make it easier to understand the name of the university, and "Founded 2008" indicates that the university will start a new journey in 2008 while continuing the traditions of the past.
