Katie's Fund For Kids Katie's Fund for Kids seeks to provide school teachers and nurses with supplies needed for their classrooms and offices.

Upon their recommendation, we also provide needed items children and their families on an individual basis. Katie's Fund for Kids was founded in memory of first grade teacher, Kate Harrigan who passed away from breast cancer. Katie's Fund for Kids provides school supplies, clothing and other essentials to students in need in addition to aiding teachers and school nurses with stocking their classrooms and offices with necessary items not provided by the school departments. All proceeds from the purchase of our Katie's Kitchen Cookbook, Katie's Fund for Kids hoodies and our fundraisers go to this cause.

Thanks to your generosity, Katie's Fund for Kids just sent 9 winter coats and 36 sets of hats, scarves and gloves to a Coventry school. Pics to follow!

Here's a look at Katie's Fund for Kids Trivia Night! We had a great time! 100 people lots of trivia and prizes and a record high on donations. I will post the tally in a day or so. Still receiving donations! Thanks to everyone!

Hi Everyone: As the school year comes to a close, I wanted to share with you everything we were able to provide as a result of your generosity. It's a long list and we are so thankful to all of you. These items were requested by teachers and school nurses.
First, clothing. Rain coats, winter coats, hats, scarfs, gloves, leggings, socks, sweat pants tee shirts and underwear. We provide for both boys and girls and in various sizes.
Classroom supplies: Stickers, books, puzzles, crayons, markers, markers for whiteboards, construction paper, 60 headphones, 90 computer mice, glue sticks, pencils, dodge balls, Lysol wipes, toys for pre-k, batteries and assorted snacks.
Nurses office: Stethescope, bandaids, cold packs, Q tips, blankets, plastic cups, vaseling, childrens Tylenol.
We were also able to directly provide Santa Gifts to 2 families at the request of teachers. The gifts included toys, art supplies, pjs, coats and glove.
We also made a monetary donation to field day for ice cream.
We cannot thank you enough. I could easily spend $1000 per school, the need is that great. We look forward to your continues support.
