Message from the Religious Coalition's Christmas Assistance Coordinator, Sheila Simms: "Thank you everyone for your support! The community's generosity has been great this week fulfilling all our toy and clothing needs for the Christmas Assistance Program. At this time the only item we can use more of is wrapping materials (paper, tape, gift bags, tissue) to distribute with the toy and clothing donations to the families for wrapping their children's gifts."

Immediate Need Alert! 🚨 The Religious Coalition for Emergency Human Needs is still in great need of donations for preschool through 12th grade NEW toy, clothing (pajamas, socks, underwear), and winter gear (coats, hats, snow gloves) for their Christmas Assistance program this week. You can drop off your donations to their office at 27 Degrange Street in Frederick between 10am-2pm Mon-Fri. Contact the Christmas Assistance Coordinator, Sheila Simms, at [email protected] to make other arrangements for drop off or if you would like to sponsor all the gift items for a child or family. As long as they have the donation support they will continue to help as many applicants as possible this year.

Our first St. Nick delivery goes to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul - St. Teresa of Calcutta Conference! We received $2100 in check donations during our Saturday Dec 4th Collection Day event to put towards their emergency assistance fund.

SVDP - St. Teresa of Calcutta Conference is an emergency financial assistance program whose mission is to provide those facing eviction, utilities cut off, need for security deposit assistance, need for prescriptions, and other financial crisis within the Brunswick, Jefferson, and Middletown Valley communities. Our Collection Event is underway!!! We’ll be at HFCC’s Parking Lot, 7321 Burkittsville Rd, Middletown, MD 21769 until 1pm accepting donations for our 14 charitable partners.

Bring any age/any size NEW unopened toy, clothing, winter coat-hat-gloves, personal hygiene, diaper, paper product, cleaning supply, non-perishable food item, monetary or gift card donation to our drive-up collection day event and our volunteers will guide your items to the greatest need.

We are in great need of wrapping materials for the Brunswick Ecumenical Assistance Committee On Needs (BEACON) Christmas Assistance Program so all participating families will be able to wrap their children's sponsored gifts for the holidays.

Bring any wrapping materials (paper, tape, gift bags, tissue paper, bows, tags, etc.) for donation to our collection event this Saturday and be sure to mention BEACON as the recipient.
