We’re excited to announce the 2026 White River Marathon Charities of the Year 💛
This marks the second year of our mission to keep race proceeds local by supporting organizations serving Baxter and Marion counties.
After receiving 12 deserving applications, the White River Marathon Board selected:
🐾 Have a Heart Pet Shelter
🥫 Food Bank of North Central Arkansas
🚒 Cotter Fire Department Auxiliary
🍽️ Wesley Kitchen at First United Methodist Church
Last year, with the help of our runners, sponsors, volunteers, and community, we raised more than $20,000 for local charities during our first year of keeping the money local.
Our goal is to meet, or exceed, that impact again in 2026.
Every registration, sponsorship, volunteer hour, and donation helps support organizations making a difference right here at home.
