The Run / Walk / Ruck 4 Heroes is on Saturday September 19, 2026. It includes the following events: 5K Run/Walk, 10K Run/Walk, 15K Heroe's Challenge, 5K Ruck, 10K Ruck, 15K Heroe's Challenge Ruck, and 1 mile.

Foul weather couldn’t deter our support for local military and public safety heroes. What an amazing event! We exceeded our fundraising goals and had a lot of fun with our heroes. Thanks to all the sponsors, donors, volunteers, and participants. See you next year.

On behalf of MRVBTYR and our partner organizations, thank you Cottage Grove and surrounding communities for showing such strong support for our military and public safety heroes. Thank you, golfers and everyone who joined us at the VFW. Despite the rain, today was an amazing day.

GREEN LIGHT!

Based on the latest weather forecast, we're golfing tomorrow.

Please plan to arrive and check in between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM. We'll kickoff with a brief welcome announcement, a group photo, and a fun game before everyone heads out to their assigned holes.

If conditions are a little wet tomorrow morning, we may have a delayed start. Please still plan to arrive by 8am. If we need to delay, you'll have the opportunity to relax in the event center, check out the raffle prizes, enjoy morning refreshments, and visit with our generous sponsors.
