NMUSD BOARD MEETING TOMORROW!

Tell the Board that their proposal is the wrong idea. They want to ban all e-bikes for middle schoolers and Class 2 and Class 3 e-bikes for high schoolers. It also wants all bicycle riders to be forced to register their bicycles and sign onerous waivers to park their bicycles on campus.

Come say hi and talk safer streets with us at the Mesa Verde Cruise the Loop event!

April 12th at 10am to 1pm

The City of Costa Mesa is closing down one lane each direction to cars to expand space for us to walk, bike, scoot and roll on Mesa Verde Drive East between Baker and Harbor with hubs on each end with activities and education.

OCTA is also gathering feedback on community support for more cycle track in our city so make sure you go talk to them!

We can’t wait to connect with Costa Mesans at this community festival!

Visit the city website to learn more info!!

Check out the link in our bio with more info including a survey that’s open until March 20th.

How can you envision a connected Costa Mesa?

The NMUSD Board is planning on making it harder for students to ride their bikes to school. We are urging the Board to step back from broad, reactive policy-making. With e-bikes being so popular and such a hot political topic, we are urging policymakers to instead pursue a thoughtful, balanced approach to e-bike safety, one grounded in the District’s own existing policies and in the real transportation needs of students and families.
