For Day 2 of , we honored Dunia Sibomana-Rodriguez & The Smile Rescue Fund for Kids 💙
The non-profit brought Dunia to the U.S. and performed over a dozen surgeries on him after he suffered a childhood chimpanzee attack in his original home in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Earlier today, Giancarlo Stanton, Paul Goldschmidt, David Bednar, Ben Rice, Anthony Volpe, and Assistant Pitching Coach Preston Claiborne joined Dunia and his friends and family for a surprise high school graduation party at Yankee Stadium. Dunia, a three-time N.Y. State wrestling champion, will be attending the University of North Carolina this fall & will be joining their wrestling team.
