Today marks 7 months without Avery. 💔

RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS💗
I actually had a completely different post ready until something happened yesterday that changed my post idea. A neighbor reached out asking for help for a stray cat that was clearly suffering and desperately needed care. Despite everything this sweet soul had been through, it still showed so much kindness. Thanks to several caring people coming together, the cat was finally able to get the help it deserved.

It immediately made me think of Avery.

No matter what she was going through with her own medical issues, Avery always believed in random acts of kindness. She understood that even the smallest gesture could make a lasting impact on someone else’s life. That belief is what eventually inspired her to start her nonprofit because she always wanted to do more for others.

Some of the many ways Avery shared random kindness included:
• Visiting and volunteering at animal shelters
• Collecting donations for shelters
• Helping the community through her pet food blessing box
• Delivering surprise desserts and pizzas to frontline animal workers
• Volunteering at food pantries
• Delivering pet food to those who were homebound
• Leaving inspirational rocks for strangers to find

Avery is missed every single day by so many people. But her legacy can continue through all of us. A small act of kindness may seem little to one person, but it can mean everything to another.

In honor of Avery, go do something kind for someone — no act is ever too small. 🩷 Let’s hear some nice things you have done.
