I have used this library several times, most recently to pick up some solar glasses for eclipse.
It serves a variety of purposes for various members of community. I’ve attended technology sessions there and genealogy presentations. Most importantly, it honors one of Corpus Christi’s citizens that worked tirelessly to educate and inform others of the importance of preserving our genealogical history. That in itself has been life-affirming for me. Thank you, Dr. Cleotilde Garcia, for inspiring so many. ✨💕

"Santa Cruz is located in the southeastern part of Duval County on Farm-to-Market 1329 and Los Olmos Creek. It was named for the Santa Cruz de Concepcion Land Grant. It was established in 1859."

Those buried at the cemetery are a direct descendant of Jose Maria Martinez and Julia Gonzalez, their children, and Benito Gonzalez and his wife - Vivian Elizondo.
