We will be holding our 4th Annual Colton’s Cars for Life this year again at HardKnocks, September 20th from 12pm-4pm.

‼️ 100% of donations raised at this event will go directly to Southwest Transplant Alliance ‼️

💙 We will be holding a Car Show that anyone can enter with a $10 donation entry and have a chance at winning a People’s Choice award that anyone attending can vote for!
💚 We will have some goodies we will be raffling off too! Tickets for the raffles can be bought inside Hardknocks on the day of the event!
💙 Enjoy the friendly atmosphere, grab a bite of amazing food or some drinks at HardKnocks!
💚 Meet with other car enthusiasts, and help us all raise funds for a good cause!
💙 Donations can be accepted in cash or through CashApp!
💚 Help us in living on Colton’s memory with his favorite things- Cars and Helping Others!

Colton Wade was 21 when we had lost him in a fatal accident. Everyone who knew Colton knew he loved cars, loved helping people, and was a fun guy to be around. He loved to joke and have fun, he could make anyone smile, he was a force on a drum set (and honestly, just about any instrument he could get his hands on), and he loved spending time with all his friends and family whenever he could. He was an amazing son, brother, uncle, and friend to all. His loss shifted our entire worlds, and when he had passed we found out he was an organ donor. We hadn’t known beforehand, but it perfectly suited the man he was- giving and kind, even in the afterlife. STA helped us tremendously during this time, being there with us every step of the way, answering the many questions we had, and helping us grieve.

There are some 100,000+ People in the United States waiting for organ donations that could change their lives- children, teens, adults and elderly- and every 8 minutes another is added to that list. Up to 8 lives can be saved or changed by just a single person through organ donation, and up to 75 people can receive tissue donations from a single person. Our Colton made the amazing choice to be an organ donor when he’d gotten his driver’s license, and wound up saving 4 lives with 5 organs, and so many others with skin and tissue donations. We want to continue his legacy by holding this event in his memory each year and raising funds to give back to STA so that they can continue saving others lives, and can continue to helping families like ours after a loved one has passed.

It's North Texas Giving Day! Your support helps families like Araceli's focus on healing after a life-saving transplant.

Araceli and her family traveled from El Paso to Dallas for her liver transplant, staying nearby for checkups and care after Araceli's surgery. With both parents unable to work during that time, the STA Foundation provided assistance to help with some of the costs back home.

Looking very forward to seeing everyone that comes to visit us this Saturday! Don’t forget, 12-4pm at Hardknocks!

We will be having a Car Show that anyone may enter for a fee of $10 that will go towards STA, and we already have four Speed Society winners that will be participating this year! Any participants will have a chance to win a People’s Choice award!
Tickets will be sold for a raffle with various prizes! All proceeds will go to STA!
Food, drinks, and a great atmosphere with great people for a greater cause!

Received great news this afternoon! We will now have FOUR Speed Society winners at this year’s event! This is the first time this many winners have been able to meet up at one spot.We are also hoping to receive some cool Speed Society gear for our raffle. You do not want to miss out on this!!!!

It has now been almost three years since the unimaginable happened and our beloved Colton Wade was in a fatal car accident. Those that knew Colton knew he he had a heart of gold and was known to help anyone in need. Despite our loss, we were blessed that Colton had registered as organ donor and because of that he was able to save four lives with five organs and help many others with skin and tissue donations. We had never known the huge impact of organ donation and how much it truly impacts another’s life. The great people at Southwest Transplant Alliance (STA) were so caring and giving to us during our time of need and each year we would like to continue give back to them in remembrance of Colton’s Angelversary.
We will be hosting a car show at Hardknocks on the Island from 12-4pm as a way to do this and to be able to meet with other car enthusiasts. Parking for those who would like to showcase cars will begin at 1130 at the Seashore Middle Academy next door and we are asking a $10 donation entry fee. There will be a People’s Choice award presented. We will also be having a few raffles. Both of those events will run until 3:30pm and winners announced at 4pm. All proceeds will be donated to STA.
We hope everyone can come out another year to make this event happen and to remember and honor Colton’s life and to support STA in spreading the importance of organ donation. More updates to come.
