This story is proof that it doesn't matter where you start in life. If you want something, go after it, and don't stop until you achieve it. And don't let anyone tell you that you can't!

September 2026 Welcome Reception

09/13/2026

AAUW-CC had a good turn out for today's Welcome Reception. Many current members attended, and we met several new members and guests. We enjoyed an ice breaker that got us moving around and talking to each other, learning more about each other in the process. Pictures will be posted soon.

One last reminder that the AAUW-CC book sale at Neyland Library is ending today! If you've been out already, stop by one last time to see if anything new strikes you. If you haven't been out, the sale continues until 1:30 today. We have a large variety, from children's to history, to novels, to special collections. Most books start at just $1. Thank you to everyone who has come out to support us and our local community. All proceeds fund scholarships for local women, Community Outreach projects for local women and girls, and the local library.
