Rollo's Kids Foundation Rollo's Kids is a non-profit in Corpus Christi that supports the kids of hard-working families through various charitable programs.

Rollo's Kids Foundation is a year-old non-profit with a goal to support hard-working, low-earning families and their kids through various charitable programs throughout the year. What began as a generous act to help one struggling family with kids quickly grew to many. As the requests for help poured in with stories from hard-working families that simply could not provide their kids with the much-

needed school supplies and clothes they needed, we knew we couldn't say no. As the holidays neared, we again answered requests for assistance to provide their kids with at least one toy on Christmas day, a small reward for their child's good behavior or good grades throughout the year, a gesture that so many of us take for granted. Rollo's Kids was created for this very purpose and all of our food, clothing, toys and shoes are given through donations and fundraising. Without the support of the community, we would not be able to operate this charity. The families we support work hard, sacrifice, and ask for so little. Angel Tree Registration will open on September 21, 2020. If you need assistance with gifts for your children ages 12 and under, you can register online by visiting https://www.salvationarmytexas.org/corpuschristi/christmas-assistance/. Or, if you don’t have access to a computer or cannot register online, you can pick up a printed packet from 9AM-3PM Monday-Friday at 1802 Buford St. Registration dates are September 21-30.

Due to the Labor Day holiday, curbside meals this week will be available for curbside pick-up on Tuesday (Sept. 8) & Wednesday (Sept. 9) from 7 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. in front of Central Kitchen. Tuesday pick-up will include one breakfast and one lunch. Wednesday meal pick-up will include 3 breakfast meals and three lunch meals.
