Remembering Julian 🧡

Julian Galloway, our beloved 2020–2021 TOKC James’ Wingman, passed away on December 17, 2025, at just 10 years old, after a courageous battle with medulloblastoma. Julian fought with incredible strength for many years, touching every community he was part of and everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Julian was a cherished member of the TOKC family. Whenever he could, he showed up at our events with a smile, an energy and a light that brought JOY to everyone around him. He was brave, joyful and deeply loved, and his presence left a lasting mark on our hearts.

Today, we honor Julian’s courage, his light and his childhood, while holding his mom, dad, older brother Joaquin, younger sister Jemma, and their entire family close in our hearts. His passing is another heartbreaking reminder of why the work we do matters so deeply. We will continue supporting innovative pediatric cancer research in the hope of bringing new treatments and cures to children facing this disease.

Julian will forever be part of the TOKC family. His light lives on in the people he touched, the memories he gave us, and the work we continue in his honor. 🧡

September is normally pretty hard with daily reminders of Childhood Cancer, extra hard this year without Julian here. We have a great community keeping Julian and other warriors and angels in their hearts all month long. Julian’s picture is up at TOKC events, the mall with the Ready or Not Foundation, at Curefest in Washington DC, Gold Out Games at St Pius X and IWA. A couple more events to go this month. We thank you all 🙏💛🙏💛

To Grandpa Feliciano on this Grandparents Day: He showed up in a million ways for us over the years, but when Julian was diagnosed, he was there every day, bringing Julian’s favorite snacks, tacos and toys, making Julian laugh with their own inside jokes, showing up at school events for the siblings when we couldn’t be there, taking the siblings for special dinners at their favorite places, making everyday special for all his grandchildren. Most of all he brought prayers, thousands of prayers, and he still does. He gave everything he had along side of us and left a lasting example of taking care of your family!

Childhood cancer causes pain across generations. Grandparents watch their grandchild face tests, treatments, fear, and pain—while also watching their own child carry a diagnosis no parent should ever hear. They often hold everyone together while quietly carrying heartbreak of their own. This Grandparents Day, we honor the grandparents who stand beside these children and their families with unwavering love. 💛🎗️
