To the compassionate firefighters who took the time to visit a family facing childhood cancer during a time of profound need: thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Special gratitude to Battalion Chief Trevor for fully coordinating this visit and serving childhood cancer patients in desperate need.

Your presence, kindness, and willingness to show up offered something precious—comfort and a reminder that this childhood🎗 cancer family has a community standing beside them. In the midst of overwhelming challenges, a caring gesture can mean more than words can express.

We will provide:
Training,
Gasoline expenses,
Meals,
Parking,
And much fun!

We need an adult 18 years of age or older who is available most of the day and able to drive to Los Angeles.

🎗Do you know about this brutal part of childhood cancer? How much do you know?

Bone marrow (stem cell) transplants in children frequently cause temporary or permanent infertility due to the high-dose conditioning chemotherapy and/or total body irradiation (TBI) required before the procedure.

Children and teens not only face the battle of their lives against the disease but also face the devastating side effects of treatment. While some may have fewer side effects of treatment, others face brutal consequences due to the severity of the disease, and the length and number of recurring episodes.

If you see a child battling cancer, it will change your life forever.

Childhood Cancer Awareness is not only in September; it is every day. 🎗
