Last Friday we celebrated our groups and individuals who volunteered for us this past Christmas season during our first annual Red Kettle Recognition lunch.
This year’s recognition also highlighted our Kid’s Café program as a way to show our volunteers one of the programs that the money they raised helps to fund year round. Rosanna Knotts, our school age services coordinator, who overseas this program gave attendees a glimpse into both our after-school and day camp program.
During the reception we were able to present 3 awards:
-Our “Do Something” Award was presented to Mary Ellen Monahan for her time and dedication to our Kid’s Café program for many years. Her passion for this program and the children has been evident over the years. We thank her for all she has done.
-Red Kettle Challenge Awards (groups or individuals who brought in the most money through standing kettles, hosting online kettles, monetary donations and other fundraising efforts during the 2025 Red Kettle Campaign)
—Runner Up: CPP Schools High School
—Winner: Corning NY Lions Club
Thank you to all who attended and those who couldn’t attend for all your support during the 2025 Christmas Season, we appreciate you!
