EBase USA - Blue Ridge

EBase USA - Blue Ridge The USA's first EBase (Education Base) is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. This stand-alone "classroom" is run entirely on solar and wind.

The EBase USA - Blue Ridge is located at Apple Ridge Farms in Copper Hill, VA. This project entails retrofitting the inside of the box car into a working classroom. Inside, the EBase USA - Blue Ridge will have multiple computers connected to the internet, a satellite television, small-scale solar and wind classroom educational tools. This heated and cooled stand-alone “building” (EBase USA - Blue

Ridge) will be run entirely on wind and solar power and be set up to educate on how wind and solar power works.
