Learn about the environmental and financial impacts these rapacious boxes bring to rural communities - free, open to all: 7pm this Thursday, 6 Aug, Limestone Fire Hall:

Open to all: Information session on data centers Aug 6 a township Fire Hall. Matt Shorraw, the Policy and Program Coordinator for Physicians for Social Responsibility PA (PSR PA), will discuss:

-Types of data centers and what they do
-Effects of data centers on local and regional communities (environment, health and financial), and
-Models of ordinances that benefit communities.

Matt is a dedicated public servant and community advocate with experience in local and state government, grassroots organizing, and public policy. After his presentation, Matt will be joined virtually by Josephine Gringerich, PSR PA Health Advocacy Outreach Coordinator, to answer questions and further discuss the issues raised.

Tilly the tracking dog helps hunt down HWA (hemlock woolly adelgid) and other invasives for monitoring and treatment!

Ontario's first pilot conservation detection dog program is now active, with Tilly searching the Credit Valley watershed for invasive species.
