This is a reminder that TODAY at 2:20 est/1:20 ct all electronic devices will loudly send out an emergency alert sound. For those in a DV situation, a hidden silent phone can mean the difference between life and death, so please spread awareness to everyone you know.

Turn the phone off at 2:00/1:00. It will still project the test sound, regardless of being on silent or DND

IMPORTANT, PLEASE SHARE!🚨on October 4th at around 2:20 EST, there will be a national alert test sent to ALL cellphones! If you are in a domestic violence situation and have a safe phone hidden, turn it off an hour before! Set a reminder in your phone for 1:00 EST for a fake reason, and turn your safe phone off. An hour before is suggested in case the alert is ahead of schedule.
Please then have a reminder set to turn your phone back on if you need it
