🎭 The Arts Don't Just Create Performers... They Create Readers, Leaders, and Confident Learners.
This summer, The Dr. Annise Mabry Foundation is proud to support the Floodline Players Summer Theater Program in Macon County through a community grant.
Why theater?
Because research consistently shows that participation in the arts helps children develop the very skills they need to succeed—in school and in life.
✨ Students involved in theater are more likely to:
📚 Strengthen reading and literacy skills
🎓 Improve academic achievement
🗣️ Build confidence and communication skills
🤝 Develop teamwork and leadership
❤️ Grow creativity, resilience, and empathy
For us, this grant is about much more than funding a summer program.
It is an investment in Educational Restoration—creating opportunities that help young people discover their voices, strengthen their academic skills, and build the confidence to pursue their dreams.
We are honored to partner with the Flood Line Players as they inspire the next generation of artists, storytellers, and community leaders right here in Macon County.
Thank you to everyone who makes programs like this possible. Together, we are strengthening not only our children—but the future of our communities.
💜 Strengthening Human Infrastructure Through Educational Restoration.
