Storms were never fun for Tugg but he always loved laying on his bed. This oversized beanbag chair was the best thing I ever got for him. ♥️

I posted the first part of this story earlier today.
This is the best ending to this story. The pup stays with family and when his daddy comes home she will be so happy to see daddy.

On Feb 12th of this year (2026), our family lost Tugg unexpectedly. He had been a little sick for about a week and a half prior but nothing that seemed extreme.
He made a few visits to his vet and on the 12th we left him thinking he was having some kidney issues and that he would stabilize.
Unfortunately about 3 hours into his stay at the hospital he suffered what appeared to be a major stroke and it took much for him to recover from.
Our family made the unbelievably difficult choice to let him go. This is the last photo of Tugg before he crossed rainbow bridge.
Unfortunately this came with a significant cost to our family. Some of which we are still paying for.
But because of his passing we want to create a memorial offering in Tugg’s memory. “Tugg’s Fund”
We want to create a fund that will help those with unexpected costs when it comes time to make these extremely hard choices.
For those that are less fortunate that us.

So we will be creating a way to donate to Tugg’s Fund.
Stay tuned as we setup these avenues to help cover the hardest cost to pay.
We do this for Tugg’s legacy and others like him. Those that brought so much love and joy to their families but unfortunately leave us way too early.

Every amount no matter hair large or small is appreciated and will be so helpful.
To add to this benefit, we will have commitments with the participating vet hospitals to provide the services being paid for at cost. This allows this fund to go even further to help those that need it.
