We believe the living and the dead have a voice and we honor them by listening to them thereby glorifying God. Clarifications: By saying the dead have a voice, this is not limited to electronic voice phenomenon or audible spiritual communication. The dead speak through their tombstones or grave markers, items left behind by their loved ones, memories by their loved ones, and historical records of their lives. Furthermore, the dead can also attempt to communicate through our dreams, emotions, senses and subconscious. By saying the living have a voice, we refer to the individual who comes to us as paranormal investigators asking for validity, information, confirmation or answers. By honor, we mean to esteem, value and respect. Phasma Paranormal believes in the truths and principles of Christianity. We believe Jesus came for both the living and the dead and therefore both are valued by Him. He wants us to love one another and part of love is esteeming, valuing and respecting that which we love. By glorifying God, we mean that we recognize His supremacy over all things which He alone created. We recognize His greatness and splendor by praising and thanking Him for all things that He created. God created all things seen and unseen, natural and supernatural. If He permits us to see the unseen, we must recognize His Will in this and glorify Him for the grace. Christians know the importance of faith, but The Bible also tells how Jesus demonstrated and displayed supernatural events to assist those having difficulty with their faith. If God permits us to see the paranormal, He is granting us a great grace to increase our faith and perhaps bring others to believe. By recognizing God’s power and greatness to do this, we glorify Him. Considerations: ​ 2 Maccabees 12:46 It is therefore a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead, that they may be loosed from sins. We believe that praying for the dead can benefit them. To pray for them, we must know them. If the paranormal affords us the opportunity to discover a soul in need, we can assist them by our prayers. John 18:36 Jesus answered: My kingdom is not of this world. If we can demonstrate to a nonbeliever that there is another world beyond ours, perhaps we can bring them to belief. Perhaps someone’s faith needs a boost? Could showing them this other world strengthen their faith? If someone recognizes that there is a world beyond ours, they might start thinking about how that world works. Who manages or controls this world? What do I have to do in this world, to increase my merit in the next world? Will how I am living now, influence my position in the next world? All of these questions and thoughts seem beneficial to someone’s journey to belief in Jesus and conversion to Christianity. Precepts: 1.) We never charge for an investigation. 2.) All investigations are confidential. 3.) We do not profess to rid you or your home of spirits. 4.) We do not exist for the purpose of entertainment. 5.) We investigate with a small group (usually two) so as to preserve the integrity of the data and to have as little impact as possible upon the investigation site. 6.) We believe investigators should be grounded spiritually and have a firm moral compass. This could preclude children investigating. 7.) We never trespass. 8.) We never take anything from an investigation site. 9.) We do not use our names with the dead. 10.) All evidence will be presented after careful analysis and we will not deliberately present explainable or false evidence. We shall never present fake evidence. All evidence is subjected to a strict and critical analysis that has been established through years of experience. 11.) We will approach each investigation with an opened mind, but we will not assume everything is paranormal.
