🚗Getting to a polling place is part of voting access. For people who rely on wheelchair accessible transportation, planning that trip can take extra coordination.

We’re sharing a new report from Democracy North Carolina and the Southern Coalition for Social Justice, informed in part by 6,460 calls to North Carolina’s Election Protection Hotline during the 2024 general election. It describes voters’ experiences and opportunities to make voting processes clearer and more accessible.

As you make your plan for the 2026 midterms, keep 1-888-OUR-VOTE nearby. The nonpartisan hotline can answer voting questions and help if you encounter a barrier.
