Central Ohio Python Users Group We are a friendly and enthusiastic group of Central Ohio Pythonistas.

We meet most Thursday evenings for informal dojos, occasionally for lunch on various days of the week, and have a monthly meeting usually on the last Monday of the month.

There's a proposal for Python to natively support lazy importing starting in Python 3.15. However, there are techniques covered in this post that allow you to use lazy importing now with 3.13, 3.12, ... really every version of Python.

While other groups are holding ugly sweater contests; we are asking you to provide your ugliest program. In the spirit of The International Obfuscated C Code Contest we are asking our members to bring in their masterpieces of unreadable incomprehensible yet functional python programs. Gift cards will be given out for:

"Crowd favorite technique."
"A LLM can't decipher this."
“Best one line program.”
