It started as a book club. It turned into something we didn't know we needed.
Alfred Duran's latest reflection on the Bread & Book Club is up on the Genius Level Substack and he names something a lot of men feel but rarely say out loud:
"Too many men only gather around entertainment, sports, or surface-level conversations. Too many men are starving for spaces where they can grow intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, and personally."
Over several weeks, a group of men sat with Jason Wilson's The Man the Moment Demands and somewhere between the chapters, the room shifted. The pressure came up. The grief came up. The fear, the fatherhood, the silent weight of "holding it together" β all of it came up.
Not because anyone forced it. Because the room was finally safe enough for the truth.
This is what we mean when we talk about developing Men of Genius. Not just smarter. Not just more successful. More whole.
