From walking the trails with Ganzo to building something bigger than myself — this caricature says it all.

Yellow Dog Outdoorz started in 2025 with one simple mission:
Get veterans, kids, and our community outdoors.

Fishing poles in one hand. Raffle tickets in the other.
Planning tournaments. Hosting kids days.
Working to make memories that last a lifetime.

Ohio roots. Yellow Dog heart.

This isn’t just events… it’s purpose.
It’s late nights planning tournaments.
It’s early mornings setting up ponds.
It’s watching a kid catch their first fish.
It’s seeing veterans reconnect and smile again.

And none of this is possible without our volunteers and our donors.
The people who give their time.

The ones who believe in what we’re building.

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes and we’re fired up to officially roll out the Yellow Dog Outdoorz 2026 Event Schedule!

📅 June 6, 2026 – Kids Day (Hosted with Darby Valley Conservation Club)
🎣 June 27, 2026 – Catfish Tournament (8PM–2AM)
🎣 July 18, 2026 – Catfish Tournament (9PM–3AM)
🎣 August 1, 2026 – Catfish Tournament (9PM–3AM)
🇺🇸 September 26, 2026 – Veterans Appreciation Tournament (Time TBD)
🎣 October 17, 2026 – Catfish Tournament (12PM–6PM)

We’ve got:

🎣 Fishing Expo Recap 🎣

What a great time at the Fishing Expo! We met a ton of awesome people, talked with businesses and anglers, and had some really good conversations about what Yellow Dog Outdoorz is all about.

We shared our mission of getting kids, veterans, and our community outdoors, and the support and interest we felt was unreal. From potential sponsors to folks just excited to help, it was a huge reminder of why we do this.

Big thanks to everyone who took time to stop, talk, and show love for what we’re building. We’re fired up for 2026 and can’t wait to bring some of the connections and ideas from the expo straight into our events.
