⚽️ Join Us for the 2nd Annual EKG #8 Memorial 4v4 Soccer Tournament ⚽️

On Saturday, August 1, the soccer community will come together once again to celebrate the life and legacy of Emma Kathryn Gage through the 2nd Annual EKG #8 Memorial 4v4 Soccer Tournament at the Ohio Premier Soccer Facility.

Emma was a 2023 graduate of Dublin Scioto High School and attended Ann Simpson Davis Middle School and Olde Sawmill Elementary School. She is the niece of Mrs. Annie Gage Murphy (OSE teacher) as well as a talented athlete, artist, gamer, animal lover, and friend whose kindness, compassion, and ability to make everyone feel welcome left a lasting impact on those who knew her.

Emma's memory is honored through the EKG #8 Memorial Foundation, whose mission is to create permanent memorials at all three Dublin schools she attended, as well as at the Ohio Premier Soccer Facility—a club that has been an important part of the Gage family's story since its founding in 1993.

The Foundation's work extends far beyond memorials. Proceeds from this event help fund:

🏆 An annual scholarship for a Dublin Scioto High School senior

🏆 An annual scholarship for a graduating Ohio Premier female athlete

🏆 An annual scholarship for a graduating Ohio Premier male athlete

⚽ Financial assistance for families whose children would otherwise be unable to participate in the game they love due to financial hardship

In just its first year, the EKG #8 Memorial Foundation has given nearly $23,000 back to Emma's school and athletic communities through scholarships, financial assistance, and community support initiatives.

We invite players, families, friends, alumni, and community members to help make Year 2 even more impactful by participating in the tournament, supporting the Foundation, and helping us continue Emma's legacy of kindness, inclusion, and love for the game.

Together, we can ensure that Emma's spirit continues to make a difference in the lives of others.

On August 1st, we’ll come together for the EKG #8 Memorial 4v4 Soccer Tournament to honor Emma and the mark she left on all of us. The EKG #8 Memorial Foundation carries her gentle spirit, her love for gaming and sketching, and the way she made everyone feel welcome just by being herself. Emma was uniquely herself and deeply loved for exactly who she was—kind, simple, and genuine.

In just one year, because of this community and this foundation in Emma’s name, we’ve been able to give $15,000 in financial assistance to Ohio Premier athletes in need, sponsor Emma’s high school girls soccer team, support the OP Juniors program, and create scholarships that will continue her legacy.

To help us keep this going, we’re looking for silent auction donations—items, services, gift cards, or experiences. Every donation helps us continue honoring Emma in a way that feels true to her: with kindness and heart.
