Meet the 2026 Nationwide Children's Hospital Columbus Marathon and 1/2 Marathon Mile Champions!

🦋🏁 We are very excited to announce the second and final round of Mile Champions for the 2026 Nationwide Children's Hospital Columbus Marathon and 1/2 Marathon!

Twenty-four patients treated at Nationwide Children’s are selected annually to line each mile of the race, share their story, and inspire others. Also along the course is the Remembrance Mile to honor those who are no longer with us and the Encore Mile where we recognize all Mile Champions since 2012. Together, they represent the more than 1.9 million patient visits to Nationwide Children’s every year.

It was a great honor to host PGA TOUR Wives Association for a visit today at Nationwide Children's Hospital! 🏌️‍♂️⛳🏌️ We enjoyed some tee-riffic activities with them in the Magic Forest and they also spent some time with our sweet and supportive therapy dogs. 🐶 🦋 🐾 It was an unforgettable day that ended with a generous $10,000 donation! Thanks to this fabulous group of ladies for their support during The Memorial Golf Tournament week!

The Development Board of Nationwide Children's Hospital is proud to host the annual Columbus Duck Race on Saturday, July 18, at Riverside Crossing Park — just steps from Dublin’s Bridge Park community.

Thousands of rubber ducks will race down a 300-foot slip-and-slide to support pediatric research. Each duck is numbered so you can cheer yours on and have a chance to win a cash prize. The top three winners will be announced by our patient champion.

🧸 Meet Maltbie: the 2026 Limited Edition Golden Bear!
This year’s collectible celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday and honors Roger Maltbie, the tournament’s first champion who was trendily dressed on the day of his historic victory in 1976.

Each bear sold supports the Memorial Tournament Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Nationwide Children's Hospital and local programs that align with the missions of Nationwide Children's and the Eat Learn Play Foundation through an alliance with the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation.

Take one home for yourself or donate it back to bring comfort to a child at Nationwide Children’s. Best of all, 100% of proceeds stay right here in central Ohio to benefit patients and families at the hospital.
