Our Story

Hi everyone!

My name is Bryanna Yosick I’m currently a college student in my third year pursuing a degree in Music Education. Many years ago the Lord gave me the calling to become a missionary and use music teaching as a way to share the gospel. This summer the Lord blessed me with the incredible opportunity to exercise that calling by volunteering with Watoto ministries as a music teacher in their Worship Academy. Watoto is an incredible church and ministry that rescues and takes in orphans and vulnerable women around Uganda and raises and builds them up in their villages so that they may go out and help rebuild their nation. Watoto’s Worship Academy is an amazing program offered to the children of Watoto that allows them to explore the musical gifts the Lord has given them and teaches them how to use those gifts in return to glorify him. My time in Uganda was truly such a life changing experience and I developed such a deep passion and love for this ministry and the many people I was able to form relationships with. One of the things that was brought to my attention during my time teaching was some of my student’s desires to learn instruments that Worship Academy unfortunately doesn’t have. I had a lot of time to reflect on my years of education growing up in schools that had an abundance of instruments and endless opportunities to grow in my musical passions. The Lord has since put a deep passion and desire in my heart to help the children of Watoto’s Worship Academy to have the same opportunities that I have been blessed with by collecting instruments and donating them. Watoto’s Worship Academy is truly such an amazing program and has an incredible team of leaders and mentors that inspire the students and help them grow and they are doing a wonderful job with the instruments and different recourses they have, but the Lord has put this in my heart to help them even more and that is why I have created this organization. Over the course of this next year it is my goal to collect as many instruments as possible that I can send to Uganda for Worship Academy. The Lord has big things in store for Watoto’s Worship Academy and the children of Watoto and I ask that you join me in support of this!!
