Chic Awearness began in 2013 when survivor Marci Houff and a committee of talented and generous friends joined to create awareness around ovarian cancer. Chic Awearness has raised almost $650,000 for ovarian cancer research in efforts for early detection. Together, we are turning awareness into action.

Chic Awearness returned in teal style at the Four Seasons Nashville — celebrating 12 years of raising vital funds for ovarian cancer research. This year, we’re proud to share that an incredible $245,000 was raised in support of ovarian cancer research at Vanderbilt University Medical Center!

TODAY IS THE DAY…it’s September 1st, the start of ovarian cancer awareness month!

Chic Awearness, along with your help and support continues to grow and help countless woman who may be faced with this deadly disease.

This is our month and we are so excited for all the opportunities that have been opening up for us to take part in concerning ovarian cancer in our community.

How and why Chic Awearness, our funding, our event…everything you need to know to support our mission.

Chic Awearness is made up of a board of women who have personally been affected by ovarian cancer in some way. We are determined to do everything in our power to raise awareness about this disease called, “the silent killer.”

To date, Chic Awearness has raised 1.25 million to aide in ovarian cancer research and assisting women in their diagnosis.
