One action can help save a life. πŸ’š

Naloxone can rapidly reverse the effects of an opioid overdose when given in time. It is safe to give when an opioid overdose is suspected: even if opioids are not involved.

If someone may be overdosing:
- Call 911 immediately.
- Give naloxone and follow the package directions.
- Stay with the person until help arrives.

Ask a pharmacist, healthcare provider, or local harm-reduction program how to access naloxone and learn how to use it. Carrying naloxone is a practical way to care for our neighbors; without judgment.

Knowing the signs of an opioid overdose can help you take life-saving action. πŸ’š

If someone:
- Cannot wake up
- Has slow or stopped breathing
- Has blue or gray lips or fingertips
- Has pinpoint pupils

Act immediately:
- Call 911
- Give naloxone (Narcan) if available
- Stay with the person until help arrives

Naloxone can restore breathing during an opioid overdose. If you are unsure, give it and call 911. Your actions can save a life.
