🔍Where is the next Saladin?
For generations, we’ve asked who will rise to meet the challenges of our time. But perhaps the question is: what does Muslim power look like today?

Join us for an evening with Imam Tom Facchine as we explore the role of faith, leadership, community organizing, and collective action in shaping the future of our Ummah.

On Laylat al-Isra wal Mi’raj, we’re reminded that even in the deepest moments of grief and exhaustion, Allah grants elevation, mercy, and reassurance.

This night came to the Prophet ﷺ after immense loss and hardship, and its message feels especially close as our communities carry fear, uncertainty, and pain today.

Tonight is a night for du‘a. For families living in fear. For those targeted and displaced. For courage, steadfastness, and justice. 🤲🏽

🚨 ICE activity is impacting communities across Ohio, and we need to show up for one another.

📅 Join us Saturday, January 17 at 12 PM at Mott Branch Library in Toledo to take action by building whistle kits and learning how to use them.

ℹ️ Whistle kits are simple, low-tech tools neighbors use to alert one another when ICE or federal agents are nearby.

🍽️ Join us for a shared potluck meal grounded in solidarity, dignity, and connection. This gathering is a space for us to be together, share food, and remind one another that we do not face these moments alone.

We invite attendees to support immigrant- and refugee-owned restaurants and businesses by bringing prepared food. Please label all items clearly and note which dishes are halal.

📅 Monday, January 5 at 6:00 PM
📍 Elevate Northland

*This list is not exhaustive. Columbus is home to many immigrant- and refugee-owned businesses. We encourage you to explore, support, and tag additional businesses.

Loved getting to volunteer today with Our Helpers, packing food boxes and delivering groceries to families who need it most. This work truly makes a difference for people who may not be able to get out and shop on their own, especially with increased attacks on immigrant communities.

Donations are tax deductible. Give before midnight to count toward your 2025 taxes and support this important work. 💝
