Special Olympics Ohio Northwest Region Special Olympics has approximately 180 local organizations and 22,000 athletes who are in training and competition.

Special Olympics Ohio is a non profit corporation funded through private and corporate donation and fundraising projects across the state.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run for the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games will be crossing through Cleveland June 11th, and you don’t want to miss it!

Starting at 10:15 a.m. from Voinovich Park, torch bearers will travel past iconic downtown landmarks, including Huntington Bank Field, Progressive Field, Rocket Arena, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and more.

The run will culminate in a community celebration at Public Square at approximately 11 a.m. The free public event will feature local speakers, a lineup of popular area food trucks and live music to honor the arriving torch bearers and athletes.
