🥇 We brought home gold from Sweden. Now we want to hear YOUR kid sing.

Two weeks ago, our Vocalise singers won two gold medals at the World Choir Games in Helsingborg, competing against choirs from around the world. Cantiamo earned a Gold Diploma at the same competition.

Saturday, August 29: Free Open House at 1220 Bethel Road

Four choirs, one day. Creative Notes (ages 5 to 7), Rainbow of Voices (ages 7 to 10), Cantiamo (ages 10 to 14), and Vocalise (ages 12 and up) are all open for visits.

Students can sit in on a real rehearsal, learn a song, and meet the conductors who just led our singers onto a world stage. No audition. No experience needed. Just come sing.

🥇🥇 DOUBLE GOLD FOR VOCALISE! 🇸🇪

Announced today at the award ceremony in Helsingborg, Sweden: Columbus International Children's Choir has won two gold medals in the Champions Competition at the 2026 World Choir Games, in the categories of Children's Choirs and Musica Sacra with Accompaniment.

Forty-nine singers went up against the best choirs in the world and came home with gold in both categories.

Congratulations to conductors Tatiana Kats and Miljan Krunic, voice coach Sarah Khatcherian Milo, and accompanist Sasha Antonyuk. And to every singer in Vocalise: you earned this.

Together with Cantiamo's Gold Diploma yesterday, this has been an extraordinary week for our choir. CICC now holds five World Choir Games gold medals.

Thank you to the families who made this journey possible and to everyone following along from Columbus.

Announced today at the award ceremony in Helsingborg, Sweden: our Cantiamo Choir has won a Gold Diploma at the 2026 World Choir Games in the Category of Children's Choirs.

Twenty-two singers, ages 9 to 13, represented Columbus on one of the world's biggest choral stages. Congratulations to conductors Miljan Krunic and Alyse Hancock-Phillips, and to every singer in the choir. Thank you to the families who made this trip possible and to everyone cheering from home.

Columbus International Children's Choir is opening its 27th season, ranked #117 in the world by Interkultur and holder of three World Choir Games gold medals. Our singers have performed at Carnegie Hall, the White House, and St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican.
But you don't need any experience to start. We welcome singers ages 5 to 18 at every level, from first-time singers finding their voice to advanced performers ready for the world stage. Our choirs build confidence, friendship, musicianship, and memories that last a lifetime.

🎶 Central Ohio Singing Competition -- Winners' Showcase Concert
Come celebrate the amazing young vocalists of Central Ohio! The winners of the 2026 Central Ohio Singing Competition will take the stage to perform their winning selections live.
This annual competition, now in its 15th year, brings together talented singers of all ages, from 10 and under through age 19, as well as small ensembles. On Sunday, you'll hear the best of the best as they share the pieces that earned them top honors this year.
The evening wraps up with a special performance by the Columbus International Children's Choir.

Save the date for a special evening with the Columbus International Children’s Choir!

Join us for an inspiring fundraising concert featuring our CICC conductors Amy McLaughlin, Miljan Krunic, and Sarah Milo, together with many of Columbus’s most talented young artists from the Vocalise and Cantiamo choirs.

We are also honored to present professional guest artists: Nina Polonsky, piano, Orlay Alonso, piano, Leonid Polonsky, violin, and Dublin Community Flutes. Enjoy a beautiful program of choral and instrumental music followed by an international dinner, all in support of our singers.

Proceeds from the evening will help our choir continue its legacy of excellence as we prepare to compete in the 2026 World Choir Games in Sweden and keep our gold medal winning streak alive.

Tickets are $45 per person. Payment is available via Venmo or Zelle, with tickets ready for pickup on the night of the performance.
