I am so excited about this! Thanks to Dr. Nathan Lee Roy Harris
for the invitation to speak with parents about the holistic power of food cultivated, cooked, and consumed collectively, first within our families and then, expansively, within our communities.

Revolution, liberation, freedom, and holiness cannot survive, be sustained, or lived out loud on a diet dominated by fast food. And on the spiritual tip, (I'm 4th generation congregant at The Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith...you know there's always a Bible verse🤣) please see 1 Corinthians 6:20 "For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body,..." This does not just refer to s*x. Our bodies, our children's bodies, are temples. You don't fill a temple with junk food.

Max and Sarah helped clean the excess soil from the absolutely beautiful and incredibly fragrant Ginger Damon Princeton Penn Nabrit harvested this morning. I was super excited because this was our 1st year growing Ginger or Tumeric!

Jordan, one of our teen campers from CCAF, came by to help and he collected all the stems and leaves from the harvest and added them to the for the compost. YAY! He even broke everything down into smaller pieces just the way Charles M. P. Nabrit, "Composting is a Science" requires. And yes, I know, "there is a right way and a wrong way to do everything."
