The organizational structure of the OMA includes an executive board and general voting members. The executive board is made up of five officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Immediate Past President) who are elected by the voting members of the Association. Responding to input from its members and to the expanding role of mediation in Ohio, the Ohio Mediation Association has

focused its efforts on developing the diversity of its membership and broadening the areas of its educational presentations. From its beginnings as an association primarily consisting of practitioners of family mediation, the OMA has grown to include mediators involved in civil, commercial, community, business, juvenile, victim-offender, and labor mediation, to name a few, from both the public sector and private practice.
