Advocacy Day at the Ohio Statehouse 💙

Yesterday, our board members (Amanda, Samantha, and Kellie Rose) showed up, spoke out, and joined lawmakers in conversations that ultimately move anti-trafficking efforts forward.

Main Priorities:
- Identify Children at Risk Earlier
- Stop Criminalizing Child Trafficking Victims
- Support for Ohio HB 47: Human Trafficking Prevention Act (with changes)

We've officially made it to January 2025!

Not only does that mean we're taking advantage of the opportunity to spread awareness and have important discussions regarding as many of you are hard at work supporting survivors,
BUT we're also excited for the new plans, goals, and opportunities we're exploring as a Collaborative this year!

For those interested, SCCAHT engagement meetings are held on the last Tuesday of each month in person at the Summit County Juvenile Court - 650 Dan St, Akron, OH 44310.

We'd love to connect with you - all service providers and community members are welcome!🩵
