The Put Foot Foundation is a volunteer based, proudly South African, Public Beneficiary Organisation (PBO) and Not-for-Profit Organisation (NPO) born out of the need to tackle the daily plight and indignity of children with no shoes. yone gives what they can: time, energy, skills, services, everything from the mundane to ordinary to the extraordinary! We are all 100% Africa Positive! We operate across the whole of South Africa, particularly in the less privileged and rural areas, as well as in Southern Africa on special occasion or when special needs arise.

In March this year the Put Foot Foundation visited Livingstone, Zambia to find schools and children who would benefit most from the Shoe Drops.

During our visit, we were introduced to a local shoemaker and paraplegic Victor, who undertook to make over 1000 shoes for this years Shoe Drops.

Sadly, due to daily, 18-hour long power cuts and with the drought in Zambia, this task proved incredible challenging. Shortly before the rally, the foundation took a decision to source additional shoes from another local supplier. We are proud to say that we sourced all socks and shoes locally and supported Zambian businesses.

WOW! The 2024 Put Footers are doing an incredible job fundraising this year.

The 2024 Put Foot Rally kicked off in Cape Town, South Africa this weekend and already they have raised over $25,600 to help put hashtag .

A huge thank you from the bottom of our hearts to this group of amazing men and women. We are looking forward to hosting you for the Shoe Drops in Zambia later this month.
