Congrats to our 5 OHWAY State placers.

Ley Sarye-5th
And our first State Champ, Raul Lopez.

And our Division 1 wrestlers, (ages 5,6) placed 2nd as a team!!!

We have had an amazing year. Our kids have really grown in the sport this season, and we’re excited to see what our future holds.

It’s States week for our youth team. 28 of our wrestlers have qualified for the OHWAY State Tournament, and will travel to Marion this Saturday and Sunday to compete against some of the top talent in the state. A great opportunity for these young athletes to experience tough matches under the big lights. Good luck to our wrestlers and coaches, we expect great outcomes for this group of hammers!!

Jaxton took 1st and Jensen took 4th.

Roughrider Wrestling placed 7th out of 63 teams over the weekend at the Regional meet!

Kara Hockenbery punched her ticket to the state tournament with her 2nd place district finish.

She will join Rylan and Ayden at the Schottenstein Center this weekend.

She is the first girl to represent West Jefferson at the state tournament in school history!

Kara Hockenbery claimed the 125lbs title at the Licking Valley sectional today! She will compete at Big Walnut in the district tournament this Saturday and Sunday.

We took home a team sectional title today at Mechanicsburg!

This is the first time since 2019. We advanced 8 wrestlers to the district tournament in Troy next weekend.
