Hope Hollow seeks to provide a place of hospitality to you as we share our hope with you on your journey.

Our mission is to provide lodging, meals, transportation assistance and emotional support …at no cost… to cancer patients and their loved ones, who are financially in need, while receiving cancer treatment in Columbus, Ohio. Hope Hollow offers complimentary lodging, meals, transportation, hospitality, and emotional support to persons with cancer and their loved ones in a peaceful, supportive environment. Hope Hollow realizes a dream that we have shared for some time: being able to support those struggling with cancer because our lives have been deeply affected by this disease.

Hope Hollow would like to thank the Starbucks Community and the Starbucks Foundation for their support and belief in our mission.

Last May, the Starbucks community came together to support Hope Hollow's "An Evening of Hope" Fundraiser by volunteering at this event.

This past week we learned that Hope Hollow will be receiving a “Neighborhood Grant” from Starbucks. Special thanks to , and all the Starbucks baristas that nominated and supported Hope Hollow.

We are ever so grateful to Starbucks for joining us on the journey of supporting people with cancer…their kindness and generosity have made such a difference in the lives of those Hope Hollow serves. We thank them for giving the gift of HOPE to cancer patients!

Today we received a referral to assist the family of a cancer patient who is transitioning into hospice care. The request was simple… gift cards to McDonalds to provide meals for the patient’s young children.
Later today, after receiving the referral request Hope Hollow received a McDonalds gift card in the mail from a supporter.
One might call this a coincidence, others may call it a miracle.

We are grateful to and The Cleary Company - a Hope Hollow Community Supporter! Last evening the Friends of Hope Hollow volunteers met to recap "An Evening of Hope" fundraiser held last month. The Cleary Company provided Hope Hollow the space to meet.

The Sunflower Theory…

Hope Hollow would like to thank the Delaware County Foundation and the Richland County Foundation for their support and belief in our mission as we support cancer patients in accessing medical treatment for their cancer diagnosis.

Hope Hollow recently received grants from both foundations, from funds they administer, to assist Hope Hollow in serving cancer patients who are financially in need while undergoing medical treatment.

Hope Hollow has received over 1,100 referrals this year from Central Ohio medical institutions requesting lodging, meals, nutritional support, transportation assistance and emotional support for cancer patients. It is an honor and a privilege to partner with the Delaware County Foundation and the Richland County Foundation. We are grateful to their donors for their generosity and caring…it is a gift to the persons with cancer that Hope Hollow serves.

We want to thank BWHS Little Theatre Bishop Watterson’s Theatre Department for their generous donation made to Hope Hollow. During their recent musical, “The Wizard of Oz”, donations were made to help us support cancer patients who are in need. In “The Wizard of Oz” Dorothy experienced the violent twister, which upended her life. She then followed the “Yellow Brick Road” with its very unpredictable path and often scary encounters. Hope Hollow provides for cancer patients who are going through their path of uncertainty and gives them hope while on their cancer journey.

We want to congratulate the officers of Bishop Watterson’s International Thespian Society who presented the donation to us and the Class of 2026 on their graduation! We hope their journey on their “Yellow Brick Road” provides them with the “heart” of the Tinman to love others, the “courage” to face obstacles like the Lion, and the “brain” of the Scarecrow to make wise decisions and that they have the compassion of Dorothy to help others maintain “hope” throughout their lives.
