Northern Kiwanis is proud to continue its 30+ years tradition of supporting higher education. We are now accepting applications for two $1500 scholarships. Graduating seniors attending Whetstone, Thomas Worthington, Worthington Alternative, Worthington Kilbourne, Watterson, and Worthington Christian High Schools may apply. What a fun service project as members of Whetstone HS Key Club and Northern Columbus Kiwanis, along with guests, teamed up to pack 915 boxes of food for kids at Buddy Box Connection. Food benefits kids in Worthington, Columbus and South-Western School
Districts. One more way that we serve the kids of our communities.

It’s time again to satisfy your sweet tooth. Order Krispy Kreme doughnuts and support Northern Columbus Kiwanis and the kids. Our fundraisers support projects for kids: scholarships, Easter Egg Hunt, book giveaways, NCIL baseball, Whetstone Key Club, local organizations, etc. To order online visit northernkiwanis.org.
We will deliver to your house in Worthington/Clintonville on Sat. morning Jan. 24. $15 for glazed; $18 for chocolate iced or glazed filled (raspberry or Kreme). Donations welcome, too. Thanks for your support!

The Whetstone HS teachers and staff enjoyed a delicious breakfast prepared by the Key Club last week. Pancakes, sausages, coffee, and OJ. Absolutely a great way for the students to show their appreciation to their teachers and the staff. Entertainment provided by the talented Whetstone jazz musicians. Northern Kiwanis club members gave a helping hand.

Northern Kiwanis held its holiday party last night at Mozart's Bakery and what an exciting evening it was. The meal was absolutely delicious! We were especially honored that Ohio Kiwanis Governor Marcia Copeland Hudson attended. Immediate Past President Diane Smith was honored for her dedicated service to the kids and the community, and Will O’Malley received the club Distinguished Member award. To top it off the extremely talented Whetstone HS Jazz Band entertained us with holiday music. What a great evening!

Whetstone HS Key Club members volunteered today at the Clintonville Woman’s Club “Fun With Santa”event. Cookies, face painting, holiday gift shopping and more. Cookies, too! Key Club students really enjoy serving the community. They are awesome!!

The members of Whetstone Key Club were at it again, serving the residents of our community. Here they are raking a large yard of leaves for a Clintonville resident as part of a program organized by the CRC - The Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center. Two hours of hard work and fun, stuffing 91 bags full of crunchy, colorful leaves. Hats off to these generous students for their service to the community and our neighbors.
