made his living as a general and vascular surgeon, but he made his life as a humanitarian. He had a passion for philanthropy and generosity. Helping others, giving back, paying-it-forward is a guiding principle of how he lived his life. Established in 2005, the Hassan and Talat Bukhari Foundation is a realization of his vision to continue this passion to assist current and future generations of those in need around the world. Nighat Hassan Bukhari, his daughter, shares his passion for philanthropy and humanitarian endeavours. She has more that thirty five years of experience in the nonprofit sector, and has the honour and privilege of carrying on his legacy.
