Another great turnout for the Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce Coffee at the Alumni Center on the campus of Pittsburg State University this morning. Our Chamber Champions Richard, Jason and Shirley welcomed everyone with smiles and high fives as they arrived and made sure to get a picture with a couple of VIPs – including Danielle Driskill, Director of Pittsburg State Alumni and Constituent Relations and the one and only Gus. 🦍

Some of our Crawford County crew joined the huge crowd in downtown Pittsburg to cheer on the Pittsburg State University Gorillas during the Paint The Town Red Block Party and Pep Rally Thursday night. Our Chamber Champions Richard and Jason were also there handing out candy at the Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce booth.

The crew at our Montgomery County Service Center in Coffeyville toured the historic Midland Theater in Coffeyville today. Our group learned about the theater’s history and remarkable restoration plans that are currently underway.

A crew from our Montgomery County Service Center in Independence wasn’t going to let a little flat tire stop them from getting to Kauffman Stadium Friday night to watch the Kansas City Royals beat the Detroit Tigers and enjoy a great night at the ballpark.

Whisking Up Some Life Skills! 🎂

There’s nothing sweeter than learning new skills—and the individuals at our Montgomery County Service Center in Independence have been busy in the kitchen baking up some delicious success.

From measuring ingredients and cracking eggs to following a recipe step-by-step, baking cakes is about more than making a tasty treat. It’s a hands-on way to practice following directions, measuring, sequencing, teamwork, and independence—all important life skills!

Because learning life skills is always better with a little frosting on top. 🍰

It was a packed house for the Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce Coffee at Pittsburg Memorial Auditorium and Convention Center this morning. Our Chamber Champion Virgil stayed busy welcoming everyone as they arrived but was more than happy to get a picture with Amanda Sukraw from Community National Bank & Trust in Frontenac.
