I must say something as a seminary student:

I see Donald Trump as a threat to Christianity not a savior. A woof in sheep’s clothing that will turn on the church the first chance he gets now that it does not matter if they elect him. 

There is not one thing in that man that represents family or Christian values. He is against abortion sure, but practices every other evil Jesus and Paul warned against like sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, and rivalries (Galatians 5:19)

Donald Trump is the opposite of Christ to me.

They grew impatient waiting for God to act, so they turned to worship an unholy Golden Calf, a creation born of their own distorted ideologies that strayed far from the teachings of Jesus.

Christian nationalism is not Christian! A simple study of the Bible will show that the ideology of Christian nationalism is actually contrary to the teachings of Christ. They leave out what was most important to Jesus! For example: love, justice, and mercy!

I will go as far to say that Christian nationalism is actually idolatry! It would be no different than Jesus marching around town with an “I love Rome” shirt on!

Having said that, I love my country and I am very worried about where we could be heading. I highly suggest that anybody interested in this topic watches this documentary.
