Knox County, OH: The Forgotten Initiative

Hello Friends! As I settle into my new role with TFI, I will be looking for regular donors and doing some fundraising. This will allow me to support area caseworkers and foster children.
This month, I will be doing a Christmas in July fundraiser. If you would be interested in being a donor, please let me know. If you would like to contirbute a gift card that can be used for the ministry, let me know. Or, if there is another way that you would like to contribute/participate, let me know.
This is a ministry/mission field that I cannot do without the support of others!

Ingredients for a Dirty Soda Bar were delivered and set up, giving the workers many options for a refreshing drink. 3 workers made a Tropical Sprite and said it felt like they "were on the beach"

Just a reminder that foster care is 365 days a year 24 hours a day.
There is always a caseworker on call behind the scenes, taking calls in the middle of the night.
And Foster parents with phones close by, ready to answer the call for a placement.
There are no breaks in foster care.
Thank a foster parent/caseworker today. ❤️

This Foster Care Awareness Month, we’re standing with the children, families, and caseworkers navigating incredibly hard realities — and reminding them they are not forgotten. 💙

Happy Friday!

As I launch this ministry, I need some help from my friends and others in order for it to be successful.

-I am looking for someone who likes to make schedules and recruit volunteers. You will be responsible for coordinating the gifts/treats to be taken to JFS on a monthly basis. If interested please reach out and I can send you the application. This is a volunteer position.

- I will also need people who are willing to provide financial support. whether that be through a monthly pledge or occasional financial gifts when larger donations are needed. These donations can be made directly through the TFI website so that they will be designated specifically for Knox County. If you feel led to give in this way, please let me know.

The best way for this ministry to reach its full potential is through the collaboration of many together.
