Sonya and I hope your Christmas holiday was wonderful and special and we wish everyone a happy and prosperous new year! Especially our service members and their families serving domestically and abroad. We continue to be appreciative and feel blessed by our family, friends, and supporters of Sanctuary Quarters.

Spent a couple of days upgrading the basement at SQ1. Put in some new plumbing, stained the floor, installed new glass in the windows, installed vinyl laminate on the landing and did a little trimming.

More trim needed and some more touch-up painting. Go Buck’s!

Hello all: I’ve been a bit busy with upgrading SQ #1. Thanks to a generous donation, I was able to complete these upgrades. These projects not only upgrade the structure but, do the following:

1. Increase Self-Esteem and dignity for the SQ Veteran families.
2. Provide security and refuge.
3. Betters property values and encourage others to fix up their community.

Busy day (4/18). Cut down a tree, working on landscaping, and still working on privacy fence.

Found a really nice steel door after a tear out. It had a few dings but plenty of potential. I repaired the dings, sanded that baby out & it’s time for painting.

Repurposed things are so cool!

Created a contemporary entry to SQ. Base finish wasn’t fully cured &
I screwed up...easy repair. I kinda like this!

Started putting up a privacy fence this evening and made great progress!

I created a wall feature and refinished the floors. Won’t be long now!
